It is a scientific fact that we are most creative during the first twenty minutes after waking up. It is a fact. I have read this in at least two of my Mom’s magazines (see: Redbook, July 2003). I believe this was discussed recently on the ‘Diamond’ David Lee Roth morning radio show as well. This, however, remains unconfirmed as neither myself nor any living human has actually listened to his radio show. Well, in my neverending quest to challenge Scientific Fact, I set out recently to test this “Twenty Minute” theory.

Walter, you can’t do that. These
guys’re like me, they’re pacificists.
Smokey was a conscientious objector.
WALTER
You know Dude, I myself dabbled with
pacifism at one point. Not in Nam,
of course–
DUDE
And you know Smokey has emotional
problems!
WALTER
You mean–beyond pacifism?
DUDE
He’s fragile, man! He’s very fragile!
WALTER
Huh. I did not know that. Well,
it’s water under the bridge. And we
do enter the next round-robin, am I
wrong?
DUDE
No, you’re not wrong–
WALTER
Am I wrong!
DUDE
You’re not wrong, Walter, you’re
just an asshole.

I first had the ‘big idea’ about a week ago. I was watching the show about Benjamin Franklin. I remember this specifically because it was my favorite episode, the one where he rides the horse side-ways. Its also the one with the actor who looks like that other actor who once played Ford, but that one is British and the facsimile, French. The narrator reminded me of something, and thats how i got the idea.
Sometimes when you smell something, your brain will trigger a memory you forgot you remembered- like the wallpaper in the kitchen of your old house, or the pants you liked in second grade. This was very similar, only there was no smell coming from the television. It was the narrator’s voice that reminded me of something, and thats how i got the idea.

It is almost three days since the new website was launched. Soon it will be one whole week, and then the launch will officially be something of the past. You see, using the “Freichenrichter Temporal Derivative Mode Theorum” one can accurately place all sorts of events in their proper temporal dimension- past, not so distanst past, just before, just now, present, in a little bit, soon, future. It’s fun! Take a look at some of the things I’ve discovered in the past two weeks by fooling around with the theorum:

That is French for the German word for ‘welcome’. It is rarely used, so it may look unfamiliar to any of you French and German speaking viewers, but I assure you it is not made up.
Anyway, welcome to our new “blog” thing. We’re new to this, but we’re gonna give it a try. Keep checking in, and you just might see some cool content from the band. Maybe some updates from particular band members about new hair products we are trying out, our favorite power tubes and strings, simple recipes for breaded chicken breast (or tofurkey for our vegan friends), and maybe a poem and/or joke/anecdote. It is a very exciting time to be on our website! Tell you friends!!
Stay tuned, and enjoy your day;)
peace
Nick
